Ok I am biased. I love smart woman….and Tari Sikoki is one of them. Tari who works in the Citizenship and Corporate Social Responsibility arm of Union bank, is a Global Shaper and the CEO of Honey’s Cupcakes- a paradise for all cake lovers. Tari is also a writer and womanist. So when I saw the latest series of Working Human featured Tari, I knew it would be brilliant and I was right!
Towards the end of the video Tari says ‘growing older is about getting better’. There is something ‘ soft, genuine and empowering about that. We often get so entangled about the significance of our age we forget to be empowered by it and to live in the newness it brings. Thanks Tari, for reminding us of that.

About Working Human?
The short version? It is a human story; about one human and how he or she chooses to live, love, work, and play all in a day.
But more, it’s a contemporary African story featuring old or young person(s), and how they make life work everyday.
Our first Working Human was the amazing Lanre Olusola – The Catalyst with whom we spent several hours riding around Lagos as he did what he does best: inspire people. It was such a success playing over and over again on EbonyLife TV but we desired to reach people online.
And so, we were super excited when Tari Sikoki agreed to allow us spend time with her and invade her personal space (chuckles)… It’s been 3 months since then and now we are proud to share it.
