If you were ever unsure of how to answer this question, or thought you knew the answer, Steve’s extremely moving TED speech provides a new level of understanding. We all know Steve Jobs, the amazing entrepreneur and innovator. The co founder, chairman and CEO of Apple inc who died in October 2011. His story has been a source of motivation for many. A college dropout, who is widely recognised for the personal computer revolution. But it is not Steve’s success that is the story here, it is the moments in-between the perceived failures and final success where the true living resides.
In his speech Steve tells us to love what we do. That’s not new, everyone says that. But to Steve loving what you do means unfettered hindrance. It is the freedom to follow your heart and intuition even when the world sneers in your face. It is waking up every morning and asking yourself point blank “if today was the last day of my life, would I do what I am about to do today? It is having the courage to follow your heart and intuition because somehow they already know what you truly want to become. It is staying hungry and staying foolish!
