She Leads Africa is proud to announce its top 10 finalists for the 2014 Entrepreneur Showcase. Selected from 380 applications from more than 27 countries, these young entrepreneurs represent the best young female entrepreneurs across the continent.
They will present their businesses to a panel of esteemed business leaders, investors from leading venture capital firms, and the media on September 20th in Lagos and compete for more than $30,000 in cash and prizes.

2. Banke Kuku Textiles – London, United Kingdom
Banke Kuku Textiles designs African inspired luxury fabrics and accessories for the fashion, interiors and soft furnishings markets
3. Fashpa – Lagos, Nigeria
Fashpa.com is an online retailing platform, dedicated to providing African consumers with access to fashion and lifestyle brands.
4. Lizzie’s Creations – Abuja, Nigeria
Lizzie’s Creations develops mobile and web applications uniquely aimed at the development and education of women and children in Africa.
5. Loue 1 Voiture (Book 1 Car) – Casablanca, Morocco

EVENT DETAILS
The 2-day event kicks off with a private networking event on Friday that will be attended by the 10 finalists of the competition, judges, entrepreneurs, angel investors and venture capital companies. Followed on Saturday by a panel of 4 young entrepreneurs as they discuss their growing business and how they have scaled to new markets.
The day will also include the pitch competition where 10 finalists will be given the opportunity to pitch their business in front of a panel of experienced entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and financiers.
