Many of us (if not all of us) deal with insecurities of different degrees. From how we look, where we schooled, how much money we have, who we married, the schools are children go to…..insecurities can appear in different forms and can affect us in different ways. While most of us spend a considerable amount of time trying to hide our insecurities, the real issue for me is when insecurities prevent you from living and/or enjoying life. Anytime you feel you cannot achieve something because of a perceived inadequacy, it really is time to check yourself.
I remember just before I started the Inspire Series, I felt I had to loose like 3 dress sizes before I could even think of appearing infront of the camera. While, I am now doing my best to live a healthy lifestyle, I am glad I didnt let my weight prevent me from pursuing my dreams. So today, I present my tried and tested tips for overcoming insecurity. Please let me know your thoughts, either by leaving a comment or sending me an email glory@inspiredbyglory.com. And dont forget to subscribe to our you-tube channel- inspiredbyglory

Great video as usual, Glory! I have had insecurities about my looks. When I was really slim (UK size 8), people always felt obliged to make negative comments about how skinny I was. Now that I am a size 12, people still make negative comments about how fat I’ve gotten. I have gotten to the point that I am very happy with myself, and I don’t entertain such comments anymore. So, I take control of such situations; either I remove myself from a place where people are fat-shaming, or I tell the person bluntly that my weight is not their business. I had to say this to two men in the last month. Thanks for sharing.
